The village of Cross is situated in Ness, which is the northernmost part of the Isle of Lewis. It is about a 30 minute drive to the house from Stornoway on the A857. When you enter the village you will see the Cross Inn on your left hand side, the Ness Post Office is a little further on your right and then you will come to a War Memorial on your left. Number 14 is the fourth house on the left after the War Memorial. Your SatNav will also get you here if you use the postcode - HS2 0SZ.
A car is always handy for exploring everything the Outer Hebrides has to offer but it is possible to get to the house by public transport. There is a regular bus service from Stornoway and given the range of local amenities and sights to see, there is plenty to enjoy during a week's holiday in Ness.
